Best Subject In School & Why I Enjoyed It

What is your best subject in school? Why do you enjoy it?

Well, I can’t really answer this as if I’m in school still because I graduated high school back in 2011, but I’ll answer this the best way that I absolutely can.

My best subject(s) in school were math and band.

I enjoyed math because it made me think and I like subjects that make think. I loved the challenges it brought to me. My teachers would give us an assignment, and I would look at it, try to to do the assignment while they’re explaining what do to, and I would finish about 2 questions before they were done, and some of the stuff would be super hard to the rest of the class, but kind of easy for me. Of course, I would have my dad check my homework, which would typically be what I didn’t finish in class or what I finished in class, and it would typically be right or almost right.

I am a music kid through and through. Music has been apart of my life since my mom was pregnant with me. It’s in my blood, and I love it. My dad actually talked me into being in band, and I couldn’t thank him enough! It was one of the best subjects in school because I loved it. It was fun. I could talk about band all day, so I won’t. I’ll just say that it was one of my best subjects, and leave it at that, ha ha.

Well, that’s all for today. I hope you enjoyed reading this, and I’ll see y’all tomorrow!

Earliest Memory

What is your earliest memory?

My earliest memory that I have is probably going to look at my childhood home. I remember seeing white walls everywhere. All of the walls in the house were white except for my parents bedroom. I do believe that was a light pink with roses on the top the walls all the way around their room, and those walls stayed that way until we moved out. I remember meeting our neighbor who lived down the road from us. Him and my dad are in a band together, and have been for years now. I don’t remember much else. There’s pictures of me unpacking all the boxes my parents were packing because I apparently didn’t want to leave the trailor we were living in, which I don’t really remember that place at all except for when my grandfather took my brothers and I out the goat pin, and one of those goats stole my shoe, and my brothers had to fight the goat for it back, ha ha.

We moved into my childhood home when I was about 3 years old. The next memory I have is of that home is Intermediate School. I remember going to Elementry School, but not the house, for some reason. Weird, ha ha.

October Blogging Challenge #1

So, this post was supposed to go up yesterday, October 1. Alas, it’s going up today, October 2.

The prompt title is “Describe yourself to someone who has never met you.”

If someone I’ve never met asked me to describe myself, I would start by saying that I’m a nice person. I’m generally happy. I try to be positive in the best way that I can. I’m shy with you until you get to know me. I love Bravo shows, some Disney Channel shows, a couple of Nickelodeon shows, and I love Food Network.

Me being a nice person is really what it means. I was raised to be nice. If you smile at me, I’ll be nice and smile back. If you ask me, “How’s it going?” while we’re both grocery shopping, I’ll tell you that I’m doing good, even if I’m having a bad day. I’ll hold the door open for you if I notice that you’re right behind me or my husband. If we’re both walking to a door, I’ll let you go first unless you say otherwise. Just being a nice southern woman; that’s how I was raised.

I’m generally happy unless you make me mad by doing stupid things, and by doing stupid things I mean by you doing something you know you’re not supposed to be doing.

Being is positive is as easy as it sounds. If you surround yourself with positive people, you’ll become a positive person. If you surround yourself with negative people, you’ll become a negative person. I don’t really hang out with a lot of people, so I generally stay positive.

Those last two sentences in the third paragraph, I don’t really think I need to explain those, ha ha.

Happy Blogging, and I hope this let you know a little bit more about who I am 🙂
