“Share an embarrassing moment from your childhood. How do you feel when you reflect on it now?”
The number one thing that comes to my mind when I think of an embarrassing moment from my childhood is when I was about eleven years old. I was in middle school band, sixth grade, and this particular night was my first ever band concert. My parents and I went to eat before I had to be at the school, and at the time I was obsessed with McDonalds, so went there to eat. I had to use the restroom, so I did, and when I came back out, a small part of the back of my skirt was in my under garments. I was so embarrassed. Then, to top it all off, I became a little woman that night. Can you guess what happened? If not, I’ll give you a hint. It comes every month for a woman, unless you’re pregnant, or going through something else that stops this particular thing. I was beyond embarrassed after the concert because my mom had called her best friend to tell her all about it. Like, really, Mama? I think about it now and laugh. That’s a good memory to have of my mom.
When I reflect on this embarrassing moment, I just laugh because I know I’m not the only person that this has happened to. I bet it happens everyday to people either at school or work. It’s something that happens, and if it happens to me again, I’ll laugh and say to myself, “It’s nothing but a thing!”
If you’re wondering where yesterdays post is, I didn’t make one. I had a doctors appointment yesterday, and it went well. At around 7 – 7:30pm, I started to feel really wipped out! All we did was go to my appointment, had breakfast at Chik-Fil-A, which is in this hospital I’m going to deliever my baby girl at, we came home, and all I did was rest because I was so tired! When it came around the time I usually start writing, I was trying not to fall asleep. I was going to write yesterdays post today, and wait until my normal time to write todays post, but I kept reading the prompt, and I couldn’t figure out how to answer it, to be quite honest.
Well, that’s all for todays post! I hope y’all enjoyed reading, and I’ll see you tomorrow with another post!
PS- I’m changing this from the October Blogging Challenge to Blogtober. It’s so cliche, but I think it’s cute, and it’s not a lot to type, ha ha!
